Cuddles at last :-)

What a day this has been. We went in to visit Johanna and Ruby (Luke had gone to work today) and we spent about an hour talking and then this lovely nurse asked us if we wanted to have some time holding her. We couldn't believe it and asked her if it would be alright. Johanna sorted out the wires for us when Marlane sat down and then she put Ruby on her chest and covered her over.
Marlane had her for a while and then we swapped over, I haven't got a photograph of me holding her but I do remember I wept at times when I looked down at her and saw this tiny little granddaughter making funny faces and even yawning with her tiny mouth. Those moments will live with me forever, just like when I held our own children minutes after their birth.
