Redcurrants

Today's the day ………………………. to share

Look at those luscious redcurrants, ripening in the fruit cage.  As usual, it's probably going to be a contest between us and the birds as to who benefits most from the crop.

The problem lies in a design fault in the original construction of the fruit cage.  The wire mesh which forms the sides and top has holes in it big enough for sparrows - and even blackbirds - to get in.  So it's not much use as a barrier.

Ah well - hopefully, there's enough for everyone...………………….
