Patiently waiting!

We took Pippa over to see the specialists in Birmingham today. The neurologist was pleased with her progress following her spinal injury last year and feels that her ‘back end’ though not stylish, is functioning quite well. Her shoulders have improved with anti inflammatory tablets.

The area of concern is the lump in her neck. The scan shows a large collection of pus, but no foreign body. The plan is to operate tomorrow to remove it and see what the infection is. They hope to find out if there was an injury in her mouth that has caused the problem.

Lottie came with us and was so good throughout. Everyone that we met today were superb and so reassuring.

The head is still in a positive place and I have a happy heart :0)
