Morning sunshine.

The yellow roses were catching the bright morning sun today as I stepped outside the back kitchen door. 
Hubby had gone down to our local Medical Practice for a routine blood test. 
When he returned he informed  me that Mr Blackbird had come into the kitchen first thing, when he had opened the back door to go and put something in the compost bins at the top of the garden. Sultanas evidently very popular!
    The new Mrs Blackbird has now begin to come along with him. Our old cat, Tiger, who is very deaf, really does not bother with them. He will walk past them on the bottom lawn and not bat an eyelid, so they have become used to him and do not react with alarm, but carry on picking up their sultana treats! 
I haven't done very much today as I was feeling under the weather. Hopefully whatever it is will have worn off by tomorrow.
I did so love the sunshine on the roses.
