The Great Tapestry Trail

An interesting gathering in New Lanark this afternoon. There are so many exciting new projects in production from the Renfrewshire Tapestry (shown here) which may have as many as 100 panels to the Tarland panel which is in production (part seen in the extra) and the Craigmillar project which will include the miniature violins.
It was a privilege to hear about the work being done across the country and to hear of possible future plans for viewing of these and other works. The new home for the Great Tapestry of Scotland will be in Galashiels and will include a temporary gallery as well as the permanent home for the Great Tapestry. Roll on 2020!
