The Waterloo Sparrow

I spied this sculpture when heading for the bus at Waterloo. It's outer covering is made of bird seed and you can see where it's been pecked off.

Fred and I walked from Vauxhall to Covent Garden, had a browse in the outdoor shops there. In my head I bought a pair of boots, a large thermos flask, a Patagonia lightweight jacket, a dress – I've saved so much by resisting all (for now)! A fine stroll in the city.
