You're not gonna get any nourishment from that glass ball!

A doctor I see every four weeks moved his office and I had to drive out there for the first time today.  The trip had been 60 mi/96 km round trip. This time: 110 mi/177 km.  I forgot to pack a cooler of water but I did have two 24-oz insulated cups of ice water.  I just had to keep stopping along the way to refill them.  The people at Starbucks, Panera, IHOP and In-and-Out Burger couldn't have been nicer.  I was going to stop at Sprouts when I got off the freeway but I really  had to pee.

Mom has invited me to her house for spaghetti.  I already had dinner but it was all vegetables and since she had the energy and enthusiasm to cook, I couldn't disappoint her.  This may sound rude at first but after dinner I didn't offer to help her clean up.  There's method to my madness: it keeps her moving which is a good thing. I finally have the same caregiver in there all five days (3 hrs per) so now there's consistency.  She's got her eating better and even preparing lunch for the next day in case she's off that day or coming for a later shift.  

Still awaiting the replenishment of a couple of hearts and will be posting the Mono Monday results later.  You'll probably wake up to them.  :-)
