New Library

The new branch library that serves our end of the county opened on Monday.  It is much closer to my house.  The former building was too small.  I learned today the former library was previously a perfume factory before the county bought it and converted it to a library.  The new library is in a former adult club which became a one-building branch of the county's community college, and it is now a library.  The building still has meeting rooms and a couple of classrooms which can be used by the library and community.  The new facility is even more spacious than I anticipated.  The wooden floors you see are part to the lower dance floor and the steps lead to another performance area left over from when it was Adult Encounters.  That is what it was when we moved to the county.  Now, it is a spacious new library.  What a progression.
