Red Throated Diver

It’s been a grey and blustery day today so we went to Lerwick and visited the excellent Shetland Museum. While we were walking back to the car kwdiane spotted a red throated diver but I happened to be in the right place to get a close up. The extra shows a clearer view of his throat while the other extra shows Hayes dock to prove I photographed something other than wildlife.
