Rievalaux Abbey

Granny, the boys and I went out for some culture this morning.  We're quite near Rievalaux Abbey (which sounds like it should be in France).  Obviously, the boys didn't really appreciate the culture at all - the eldest gadded about and the youngest slept through most of it.  The youngest as completely messed up his sleep and didn't go to sleep until about 10pm last night, so it was no surprise that he had a morning nap.  Despite his protestations, I managed to get him asleep for about 7.30 this evening.  

Took the boys to a playground in Pickering this afternoon, the sole objective was to tire the boys out.  We were told by a little boy there that we weren't allowed to play on anything, he was most upset (and vocal) about us being there.  

Spending the evening catching up on emails that I should have already answered, waiting for the husband to arrive, I'm going to get him into the hot tub after a long drive up here.
