Summer Solstice...
You would think given it's the longest day, I would have achieved much today but no, baby steps. Little bits of bigger jobs done.
Some holiday journey planning.
Some holiday food shopping planning (did go as far as to book a Tesco delivery to go to our holiday destination)
Some holiday clothing planning.
Some tidying.
Some photo editing.
Some cooking.
Some organising of Lola's birthday pressies.
In amongst this pottering hive of activity David and I felt well enough to have lunch at Broadslap and enjoyed delicious, delicately flavoured poached salmon.
Afterwards we were able to get Alan's car back with the back bumper fixed without need for a new one ( a relief as it is specially made due that the car being adapted to take Alan's wheelchair.)
Can't quite believe we've reached the middle of the year already but I was cheered up immensely this morning when I saw the long range weather forecast and our little corner of the world is in for another lovely spell of weather for the next 10 days at least. Woo hoo! :-))
