Fingal's cave ..

..on the island of Staffa.  A truly magnificent structure formed by hexagonally jointed basalt columns within a Palaeocene lava flow,  similar in structure to the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.  We were able to land on the island as the sea wasn't too choppy.  Something J has wanted to see for years.
