Night & Day

The symbolism of this wall art is obscure to me, but clearly an Egyptian landscape is depicted in daylight on the right, and after sunset on the left.  Fortuitously the left side (with the full moon on the door), was also in the shade, while the right side was in bright mid-day sunlight.
