New baler
T had to drive the tractor down to Dorchester to collect the new baler for baling hay and straw. It is all very exciting since our old one was 12 years old and had become very unreliable. The only problem is it is quite complicated and even the agents are ignorant of its workings. We are now waiting for one of their mechanics to help T get it working while the manufacturers are still on the other end of the phone (being a Friday!). The grass is cut for hay and it will need to be baled in the next day or so. At least the weather forecast is set fair for the next week.
The extra photograph is of a spider and its nest that was saved from my snippers as I was deadheading some perennial geraniums. Can anyone identify it, it is resting on top of its eggs.
