Restoration work on the Chesterfield Canal

Noticed a few weeks ago that there was 'building' work taking place near the canal. It seems like there is work being under taken to widen the lock. I wonder if they are going to widen the others?

There is an open day to have an explore in the bottom of the lock on the 25th November.
