Summer madness!

I couldn't get up yesterday to celebrate the Summer Solstice so I did it today instead. I was on the beach at 4 am and the sun rose at 04.31 am. It is amazing that whatever time you go to the beach there is always someone else there as well!!
But it is great to get up early (once in a while) because on the way home I saw 7 hares, about 25 rabbits, numerous swallows, starlings , crows magpies amongst others. But my favourite today was the little linnet in extras singing his head off.
