Backyard

Our son and his wife have sold their home which they have owned for the past four years, they officially accepted an offer today. It is a bittersweet time for us. While we are very happy for them as they begin a new stage in their lives, we will greatly miss this wonderful house we have had the pleasure of staying in many times. My wife has been diligent during our visits about reclaiming what began as an overgrown, out of control backyard.  She wanted me to get a few photos of her handiwork as this will be the last time we stay here. The patch of trees in the center of this photo used to be an impenetrable mess, but she has slowly thinned things out until now it is a nice adjunct to the rest of this stunning home.
