The peas that never made it ..

I planted around 20 pea plants. But not a single pea made it onto a plate. The reason. Storm.

I showed her once how to pop the pods open and eat the peas, how to spot which were bad pods and how to look through to see if the peas were fully grown and ready yet. I lost count of the number of times I went out to the garden to find a pile of empty, discarded pods next to the vegetable patch. Next year, I shall be growing treble the amount of pea plants!!
