An open and shut case

This afternoon we called in at Waterstones bookshop in Oban to see an exhibition of poetry and photographs from North Argyll Carers in the room above the shop. Last month they spent some time together on the Isle of Tiree.

I thought it was open until the end of the month and wondered why there wasn't a sign up announcing it, or indeed anyone visiting it. The man at the desk told us it was because it closed a week ago. I suggested that if in fact it was still open to view, even if technically closed, then why not keep the sign out. There was no answer to that!

So we enjoyed a private viewing and particularly loved some of the poetry.
