Goldfinch

Our current accommodation on the Coast to Coast is a farm house in Glaisdale. House dates back to 1500’s but has had various alterations over the centuries.
Part of the garden is sheltered by hedges and trees with a multitude of bird feeders. Managed to get this superb shot of a Goldfinch on one of the feeders. There were at least 4 of them and a queue, albeit bad-tempered, formed up for access to the niger seed.
