Afternoon Tea @ The Palace

Hotel i.e., not a royal palace, although, this place is so grand, it could well be! It certainly has a breathtaking drive up to the main building.

We marked the end of an era today. Natasha (in the centre), is leaving Dubai for good next month, and for the first time, our group of friends (ex-colleagues from IIR) were all able to meet up. The only person missing is Jessica, but being over in Western Canada, she can be excused!

The High Tea that this restaurant puts out is unique in that it is a buffet, so you can take just what you want/like, and best of all, it has a big selection of savouries. We stuck to mainly that. My extra has a selection of some of what we were able to tuck into.

Great food, great venue, and most important of all, great company. A few hours vanished in no time. I was the official photographer so hope I captured the essence of the day. Nat was super generous and gave us all a gift goodie bag!
