Dragonfly, solitary bee and mimosa copse
Woke up early this morning to water the garden. While I was out, I saw that one of my sunflowers had bloomed and was smiling to me. So I took a picture of it and sent it to my friends R, E, G and J to say good morning!
A long, busy morning. Not having slept much recently had made me so exhausted that after lunch I just fell asleep and slept for three hours. I must have needed it.
Then it was time to go out for a walk. I took another picture of my sunflower, as a beautiful solitary bee was foraging on it. I hope royk13 will like it! I went to one of my favourite places near here. The farmer had cut the grass and so no more wild flowers and butterflies, so sad. The good thing was that I could walk easily to the top of the hill where I could see that the mimosa copse is doing well. On the way there, I saw a roe deer.
The star of today is a dragon fly, which my friend G helped me choose.
Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend. :-)
