A grand day out by the sea.......where is the sea?

Well a typical mad JanetH and HUD’s bird day out..... well planned ( not) but brilliantly executed.
Loading and preparing the bikes took a little more time first thing, but got better with practice.
So the ‘lune’s’ set off at line aqueduct and cycled , purchasing new bell encounters, to Lancaster. A few changes of plan and detours, we got to PGH’s first home, in Heysham. It seemed rude to not “eat dessert first, as life is uncertain” and try amazing sticky toffee cake , and a first of black currant and liquorice cake.
Then along the prom to Morecambe, taking in the kite festival as we went. We had to have a go ourselves, Physi Vic did parascending and kite flying today, a very high Adrenalin bear.
Then inland back to Car, only to return to the sea side in search of fish and chip tea- not as easy as you would think. But bought vintage tea and salt pots on the way and had our usual arcade motor races. Hate to say, but unusually, and without skill, mainly luck, I managed to win 3 races- unheard of.
Found a great fish and chip restaurant, and yet more interesting folk to talk to.
