Rustic

...and a bit ragged. Fabulous afternoon here, lazing in the sun after a busy morning in the market at Nailsworth.


The neighbourhood police paid a surprise visit to discuss the antisocial behaviour in the valley behind our house at weekends. They said they'll be patrolling the pathway, to put he youths off from going down the very steep pathway, because once they're down there, the police can't extricate them. Apparently the police struggle to get down the path because they are so tooled up with their special clobber! They said we were welcome to call 999 in the case of any further Incidents, but we shouldn't try to tackle a gang of twenty drunken teenagers ourselves! As if... Last night was quiet, and tonight is also calm, so far.
