My friend

This afternoon I decided to take my "proper" camera out into the garden to record the autumn colours. The iphone camera is great, and always in my pocket, but it was good to use the bigger camera again!
I took lots of pictures of the different trees in the garden, and then turned towards the holly trees - and there he was, posing for me!
I have resisted uploading the pictures of him among the holly berries though!
His redbreast is improving, but not quite mature yet!
I am spoiling him, of course, by buying him (and his brother) special suet pellets sold for robins.
