Blackbird

Out for a Sunday carvery today with good friend H, a different venue to the  usual one, and not quite so good......A still, hot day, sat in the shade in the garden later, watching the insect and bird life, this is a shot of one of the resident blackbirds on a garden post, after he had been foraging for food.........
