PHX

I had been trying to get this photo for a long time. Downtown Phoenix's Instagram account posted a photo of it after this remodeled hotel reopened. So I went there waiting for these lights to come on. They never did. I'd go on the hour, 15 and half-hour thinking that's when they'd switch them on. Nothing!

Then when I was getting last night's photo at this hotel, one of the valet employees told me to use my flash. I had my 5D, which doesn't have a flash, so I decided to come back tonight with my 60D, which does have a flash.

Sure enough, the "PHX" is reflective. It took me months to learn this. But the photo is good. I like it.
