Summer Evening at Home

Out in the garden, putting the finishing touches to the kayak tent, I looked up and saw our house glowing in the evening sun. 
Summer is so beautiful. Windows open; fresh air moving through the house. Clothes dried in the wind and sun. The strong differences between shadow and sunlight. Blue skies and contrasting cumulus.
It is such an intense and short time, but sometimes seems to last forever.
