V&A Dundee

SUNDAY

We travelled up to Dundee on the first day of the new LNER franchise. It went smoothly, the food was OK and everything ran to time.

It's been pleasantly warm and sunny. We ate outside this evening at the Italian Grill in City Square.

The main blip is the striking V&A Museum on the waterfront. It's due to open on 15 September. More details of the design can be found here:

The city is home to the Beano comic and sculptures of various characters are dotted around the city centre. - See extra.
