Ready, set... no...

All hooked up ready to leave before lunch yesterday but....things dont always go to plan.

Before driving off a last minute job was checking the blinkers on the van and the left one wasn’t working. After fiddling with the connections we had another go. Nothing. Third try the car wouldn’t start...flat battery.

We have had 3 tow vehicles and 3 vans in the last 9 months. They are all configured a bit differently and the latest combination isn’t quite right as far as the autoclectrical systems go. It’s a bit like computers not talking to each other. The car and van are now in waiting for someone to fix the problem which Bob has worked out from 24 hours of research. It’s all to do with Anderson plugs of different colours, DC converters, 7 and 12 pin plugs etc.

So day one = zero kilometres

I unpacked some food and now wait patiently until tomorrow for departure.

Cold here this morning, minus 5.3.
