Edinburgh Cake Ladies #UndergroundCake

A spooky venue for a late Hallowe'en event. The Edinburgh Cake Ladies were honoured this evening with a very special venue for the latest fab cake celebration. Mary King's Close in Edinburgh opened this evening for our spooktacular spread of scary bakes. There were all sorts of fabulous baked offerings, and a chance to have a little peek into the closes to see the underground streets which were built over to create what is now the City Chambers.

It was all in aid of a good cause too as we were fundraising for local charity, "It's Good to Give" at whose special afternoon teas were hatched the first plans to have regular meet-ups over cake.

We even had a magician who wowed us with his tricks.

Bakes were good too - my daughter made our gingerbread haunted house, and this was the best pic I got of it on the night. Like the light trails from the candles.
