Edinburgh Granite and Marble
What a lovely morning. I got to drive through the park on the way to work. That doesn't happen often, and it's especially good when it coincides with a lovely autumnal sunny crisp morning.
I had taken the precaution of taking my camera as I thought that I may stop somewhere en route to blip. But there was nothing especially exciting that caught my eye.
So I carried on, driving at 27 mph while listening to some lovely Schubert.
Lovely.
And then I was overtaken by a van. Overtaken, on a single lane road. When there was barely more than a car length in front of me for him to pull into. And then this fuckwit pulled in, immediately in front of me.
After no more than 110 metres (yes! I did measure it) he had to stop because the light were at red. They'd been at red when he pulled out to overtake. So I have no idea what the hell the advantage was in his manoeuver. Did he really need to gain that extra 3.7 metres (yes, I did measure it) length of my car.
As I sat behind him, I began to think that I recognised the company name. Then the penny dropped and I quickly picked up the camera and blipped it.
I was right. I'd read about this very van recently, in fact I'd even viewed their fuckwittery.
Perhaps this could be a blip challenge? See if any other blippers can blip Edinburgh Granite and Marble's van.
In other news, I took some blips at Portobello today. But unfortunately it's forbidden for anyone other than Magpie to upload Porty blips, apparently she owns the copyright.
