Beyond the pillbox
Another day spent removing excess glue after MrM had laid the wooden flooring in the 'Music room'. In between times, managed to do two lots of washing, make a big pot of French lentil soup, and also make a lemon drizzle cake for this evening.
England vs Panama in the World Cup meant an extended break in the middle of the day, so there's still a little flooring to go down!
To JC's in the evening for a meal, before MrM and JC played some jazz together. JC has moved in to his new bungalow so, first things first, we had a guided tour of the house and gardens, before sitting outside for a while with a glass of wine, and enjoying the evening sun. He has amazing views all round - of Humbleton Hill in one direction and, in the other, Doddington Moor, with an old WWII pillbox in the foreground.
