Black Willow Ranch 1862

The countryside from the train as it rolls by changes from green corn fields to more open and drier lands.  The driving force behind all farm production is water and less water means more land is required to achieve the same result.
We humans are nothing if not resourceful though, and the testament of this 156 year old farm to the desire to thrive in all environments is a strong endorsement of our determination.
