Colin

We popped over to Thursley after the football yesterday to see if Colin was still around. I didn’t really expect him to be as he was due to have left a couple of days after we saw him last Sunday and I haven’t heard any cuckoos for a while where I walk the dogs - and the BTO cuckoo tracker ones are already in France. Anyway there was no sign of him so I suspect on he’s on his way back to Africa. He’s been coming to the same field in Thursley for four years now but you never know when his luck’ll run out. HOPEFULLY, though, he’ll be back again next April. Meanwhile I thought I’d do a picture of him for posterity.
