The first Poppy...

A scorcher of a day, 28degrees. I managed an hour in the garden, dead-heading and tidying up but then I had to give up and head indoors to escape the sun. At least that meant I had the opportunity for a blip catch-up. Then this afternoon I managed to find a shady spot in the garden to do some reading, but, after half an hour, again was driven indoors by the heat. Some people are never happy!
