School Of Rock

School Days are on a wind down and today was Charities Day, which looked a lot of fun. Ms H had volunteered to perform with her friend C with percussion support from a music teacher (Mr. Schneebly). I was lucky enough to be allowed to come along for their set on the condition I didn't embarrass her! As if...

She was quite nervous beforehand but half way into the first song she seemed to relax and enjoy it... actually she loved it. It's the sort of experience I would probably have loved to have on my last days at school too... but they didn't do stuff like this back then. Some of my favourite movies are the coming of age genre, especially if they include being in a band!

She seems to have had a busy day, they were wearing the leaver's tops with their nicknames on the back, getting friends to sign their yearbooks and beginning to say their goodbyes. There must be so many mixed emotions...
