Happy Birthday Kariba!

Today is my daughter's 20th birthday and as she is not here in Christchurch with us, I thought I would blip something special of hers.

I made this quilt a few years back and it took a few years to make all the bits (you can see 2002 on this square, I was obviously making in on New Year's day) and Kariba just loved it. Each cat is different and the faux fur and felt gives great texture. The teddy bear on this block was cut from the fabric of some pajamas Kariba had as a toddler so that makes it special too.
