Mysterious Coot Colours

(P.S. it is a leucistic coot)

At St. Aubin on Lake Neuchâtel there are many ducks and coots but this is really quite different. It seems slightly bigger than the other coots but I have not found it in my bird book or on the internet. Anyone any ideas?

Thanks for the bike sympathy yesterday. I fully expected not to be able to walk this morning but I could, gingerly, to the edge of the lake. I have done nothing physical today as befits a lady of a certain age! It was lovely....
