National Trust

Swim in the morning, shopping that took longer than I had planned, some bits and pieces at home and then on an expedition to Newhailes House, using my NTS card for the first time.  It has been kept in the state it was taken over in in the late 1990's.  but it was a bit gloomy. The grounds are lovely though with a great new playpark, Wee Hailes.  I succumbed and had coffee, and cake.  too sweet!  

Went in past Niddrie on the way home and in the sun planted some plants and admired the pruned tree. 

And later more 'Engrenages'.  Quiet gory, while I was eating my steak.
