Arnside Knott

Just 2 of us struggled to the top of Arnside Knott today in the blistering heat. The view in all directions was spoilt by heat haze. I spent a while here waiting for a train to go across  the viaduct but was worried I was holding up my walking companion. We photographers have a lot of patience waiting for a good shot. The rest of the walking group took a wrong turn, walked 10k by mistake and got to the pub an hour late.
