Beinn Lora

Dog sitting today so thought we could both do with a decent walk. Haven't climbed this hill in years. The view was fantastic but with no wind attacked by beasties in every direction. Afternoon was gardening. My mum is an amazing gardener but their garden is huge and too much work for them now. So I spent all afternoon on hard labour. Bramble, raspberry and tree removal. Followed by a serious attack on couch grass. I spent ages lifting beautiful iris and teasing the grass out of the roots. On a positive note now gained some iris for my garden. A hot humid windless day, but not the heatwave if the rest if the country.
