Joel, our guide, in the street markets of La Paz

La Paz has hundreds of incredibly steep streets. Four years ago the first cable car route opened (it having been discussed for decades). Now there are eight lines in operation and four more planned. Very impressive Austrian and Swiss engineering.
Today we have been to Tiwanaku to visit what has been excavated of the vast pre-Inca temples and artefacts.
We will be out of internet range for the next week in the mountains.
