Bird of Prey

Saw an amazing sight today on the way back from the daily school run. A Peregrine falcon was feasting on what looked like a black bird, directly across the road. This is such a rare sight to see a bird of prey in suburbia albeit brief, as a lady walking her dog scared it off. I was disappointed that I couldn't get some good photos of it but very happy I saw it all. I found out that the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal in the world, with its so called death dives clocking 322km/h. It must be a smart bird as it took its meal with it!
