9/11 Memorial

I used to work in #1 WYC 4ith floor (#1 was the tower with the antenna on it) and I had not been back since the towers came down. The memorial is stunning.

Americans are very good at this sort of this (see Vietnam memorial).

I can still see, in my mind's eye, the firemen relaxing outside the firehall by the towers as I walked to work
