Nellie Brewis

According to the info on the plaque on the chaor, she worked at the park for 16 years and dies in 2005. I can only assume it was an anniversary and that family members had left the floral tribute. I just thought it was rather lovely.

I spent a chunk of Saturday wandering round Saltwell Park with my little toeblister (sister). Was good to catch up and although a bit overcast, it was good to get out in the fresh air for a stretch and a welcome chance to catch up with each other. I think the last time I was in the park I was probably ~10 years old. Like so many things, it seemed enormous then and a little smaller now.
