Wide Wednesday Wooden.......

Once again on Wednesday I am in the wrong place for the theme. Plenty of wood in the mountains but the Sydney Harbour Bridge is all steel, granite and concrete.

We had a voucher to climb the Bridge Pylon which expires this week and today was our only chance to use it.
Besides inclement weather and taking over an hour to find a petrol station and parking spot it was a very successful outing.
The weather cleared up sufficiently and I can highly recommend the climb to anyone visiting Sydney. At $15 ($10 for oldies) it is considerably less expensive than a Bridge Climb which can cost up to $400 and the views must be almost as good (see extras). 
There is also a small museum with the history of the bridge.
