A-pawl-ling

The fires over the West Pennine Moors are a bit of an ecological mess, at least at a local level (recently designated SSSI). I don't doubt that, in time, things will recover. They've probably been happening from time immemorial. The smoke stretches way out across the Lancashire plain towards Bowland. This was my view on a ride into work.
