Half day Mountain hack

This was taken back at the stables, after the hack.  The horse I rode was lovely.  The views were awesome.  It was very hot.  The trail was rocky in some places.  But we also rode across sheep fields and some tarmac roads.  At one point we crossed a level crossing of a steam train railway.  No trains were there both times we crossed it. A couple of people were in the canter bit of the hack.  But I stuck with the walk / trot part of the hack.  We all stayed together, for the whole hack.  But periodically the people on the canter hack, went off for a canter with one member of staff.  While another member of staff, stopped our horses following at canter :-).  The whole group did trot and walk, together.  I did enjoy the hack.  Will go again, when finances allow :-)
