Mallard

I had intended avoiding wildlife blips after a glut on Shetland last week but it was so bright out at Oulton Mill Pond today that a duck seemed a better option.

If you look closely at this female mallard you can see green marks on her head. I reckon she had been painting the ceiling and some paint dripped on her.
